A double homicide has occurred in Pieve di Camaiore (Lucca). According to initial reports, a 63-year-old man shot his 52-year-old wife and 24-year-old son in their home.

Neighbors raised the alarm, and the Carabinieri and police arrived on the scene and arrested the man. Witnesses said there had been disagreements within the family, but nothing that suggested such an outcome.

When law enforcement arrived, the 63-year-old was found on the roof of the house and did not resist.
