In a car accident that occurred at 4.30 this morning in Ponte San Pietro, in the province of Bergamo, a 32-year-old lost his life and three other people were seriously injured. The victim was at the wheel of his car, a Fiat 500, of which - for reasons he explained - he lost control by crashing into a fence.

The driver died instantly, the other occupants were extracted from the cockpit by the fire brigade, intervened on the spot together with the ambulances, and transferred to the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospitals in Bergamo and Ponte San Pietro.
