"Pippo Franco? I don't know anything. I haven't heard from him and I know absolutely nothing. We have thousands of candidates so I don't even know what we're talking about."

With these words Enrico Michetti, candidate for mayor for the center-right in Rome - and who will go to the ballot with Roberto Gualtieri in two weeks - commented on the investigation into alleged false Green Passes, in which the actor and comedian would have been involved, who it is presented to the municipal councils in the capital right in the ranks of the Michetti civic list.

According to what is learned, Pippo Franco - 81 years old - would be among the patients of a dentist who ended up in the crosshairs of the Nas because he was suspected of having recorded on the computer system of the Lazio Region vaccinations that were never actually carried out, in order to give patients the green pass Covid, albeit in the absence of administration.

"If they were confirmed, the news relating to alleged false Green Passes would be very serious. I hope that this matter will be clarified immediately", said the Regional Health Councilor of the Lazio Region Alessio D'Amato, commenting on what has emerged so far from the investigation of the Carabinieri of the Nas and of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rome on false vaccination certifications.

Also from what transpires, checks are underway on the regularity of the Green Pass of a hundred people, including - in fact - that of Pippo Franco.

The dentist brought up - who also works as a general practitioner - in recent weeks has been the subject of a search by investigators at his office in the Colli Albani area.

The investigators proceeded to acquire medical prescriptions, patient lists and health records.
