A 14-year-old girl was killed when she was hit by a train while crossing the railway tracks at a level crossing with the barriers down.
Initial reconstructions exclude the voluntary gesture: it seems that the young girl was wearing headphones for music and did not notice the arrival of the regional train headed to Milan.
At the same point several similar fatal accidents have occurred , so much so as to spark controversy from the citizens of the Brianza municipality of Cesano Maderno.
