High school student stabbed in front of school in Sora: manhunt underway for attacker

Carabinieri officers from the Sora branch are investigating the attacker of the high school student who was stabbed this morning in front of the Art School on Via Lucarelli.
The attack was preceded by a brief but heated argument, culminating in an unknown young man first threatening him with a knife held to his throat and then stabbing him in the neck. According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, the situation escalated within moments, in full view of other students and passersby. After a struggle, the attacker quickly fled the area, escaping before law enforcement arrived. The Carabinieri responded to the scene and immediately launched an investigation.
The injured boy was taken to the emergency room at Sora hospital, where doctors found a graze on his neck and estimated he would recover in ten days.
The military is now working to identify the attacker through testimonies and by checking images from public and private security cameras in the area.
