Heavy rains hit Romagna, with 100 km/h winds. Fallen trees and trains were affected.
Dozens of firefighters responded. A convoy was evacuated between Rimini and Ravenna.A violent storm hit Rimini and the Romagna region, causing damage, disruption, and delays to transportation.
Due to wind gusts of up to 100 km/h, several pine trees fell on parked cars in Milano Marittima , a popular resort in the Ravenna area. The trees made some areas inaccessible, prompting dozens of firefighters to intervene. Several reported gas leaks were resolved, but no one was injured.
Due to a tree falling onto the tracks during bad weather, firefighters, along with RFI, also evacuated 23 people from a stuck train on the Rimini-Ravenna line . Dozens of emergency services were called out in the Rimini area, with emergency teams also working from the Forlì-Cesena command center.
