This is what the Campania Regional Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Auditors is accusing a manager of as part of an investigation into the management of a public health agency , which has allegedly uncovered a long series of irregularities.

According to the investigations, company credit cards were used to pay for meals, lodging, jewelry, clothing, travel agency expenses, fuel, and other expenses. These expenses were found to be lacking the required supporting documentation and the necessary evidence to demonstrate their actual connection to institutional purposes. The total financial damages are estimated to be €314,000.

Investigators also found a near-total absence of expense reports, travel reports, tax documentation, and indications of the beneficiaries of the services and the reasons for the trips, making it impossible to verify their relevance to the institutional activity.

The investigation also focused on the use of the agency's company cars: an analysis of logbooks, rental contracts, usage records, and Telepass data revealed continuous use—sometimes even at night—of the vehicles for travel between the residence and the work site, as well as fuel expenses incurred primarily at filling stations located near the user's residence.

According to the investigations, these costs were found to be unrelated to the institution's institutional needs and, therefore, non-reimbursable.
