A man in Terni attacked his wife with a hammer, seriously injuring her.

It is understood that the man was wearing an electronic bracelet, but he tore it off before boarding the bus, where he then struck the woman.

The Carabinieri are investigating the incident. Both men are of foreign origin. The bracelet, which the man was wearing because he had previously committed code-red crimes, was recovered by officers near the bus.

The attacker is still wanted: he had worked as a laborer in northern Italy but had returned to Terni about a month ago.
