During the night in Baldissero d'Alba, in the Cuneo area, a man surprised some thieves in the courtyard of his house and, according to initial reconstructions, he fired several shots in the dark with a pistol, which he legally owned, killing one of the intruders .

According to initial reports, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. in a farmhouse undergoing renovation. The owner, a 35-year-old Italian, was reportedly alone at home when he heard noises coming from outside. He then fired a gun, hitting one person. The victim is a 25-year-old man of Albanian origin and a resident of Turin.

According to investigators, there were at least five thieves; the others fled. The 35-year-old himself called for help and the intervention of the Carabinieri, but attempts to revive the injured man were unsuccessful .

The man has already been questioned by investigators, he is under investigation for murder and the property has been seized .
