A 49-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband in Cologno al Serio, in the province of Bergamo.

The man, a Nigerian national like his wife, stabbed her while the two were at home alone, in via Donizetti. Aid for the victim was useless.

The killer was arrested shortly afterwards by the Treviglio police.
