Antonio Di Fazio , the pharmaceutical entrepreneur arrested by the carabinieri in May last year for having drugged, raped and photographed a 21-year-old student lured into his apartment under the guise of an internship, was sentenced to 15 years and 6 months in prison.

This was decided by the gup of Milan Anna Magelli following the investigation of the adjunct Letizia Mannella and the prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo.

The manager went to trial with an abbreviated procedure. He is also accused of abusing 5 other women, including his ex-wife, with the use of benzodiazepine doses.

Di Fazio had been detained since last May in the San Vittore prison in Milan. In February he was released from prison to continue serving his house sentence in one of the Crest therapeutic communities, the center for the study and therapy of personality disorders.
