Alberto Scagni, sentenced to 24 years and 6 months in prison for the murder of his sister Alice , committed on May 1, 2022 in Genoa, was beaten in Marassi prison by his cellmate.

This was announced by UilPa, the prison police union.

The young man was allegedly attacked by the Romanian prisoner who shared the room with him. A very violent beating, with the man continuing to hit Scagni who was now on the ground. He was stopped by a prison officer who, with great difficulty, managed to remove him.

Scagni reported a prognosis of 7 days and was moved to a single cell.
