A twenty-seven-year-old man was reported by the Vicenza Carabinieri for dealing marijuana.
The young man, originally from Burkina Faso, was caught selling a joint to a twenty-four-year-old Moldovan man right in front of the entrance to the Carabinieri barracks on Via Muggia, where he had shown up to receive a notification.
Security personnel noticed the passing of the drug-laden cigarette and stopped the buyer outside. The search confirmed possession of the joint, which a drug test revealed was marijuana.
The twenty-seven-year-old, already known to law enforcement, was reported at large. The buyer, who also has a criminal record, was reported to the Vicenza Prefecture as a user.
The Carabinieri also took away his license, as he had reached the barracks on a motorbike.
