He abandons two sofas on the street, the Romano di Lombardia police unload them in front of his house
The local police fined the citizen and released an ironic video with the writing: “Have you lost something? We'll bring it back to you."An exemplary lesson. It is the one received from a citizen domiciled in Romano di Lombardia (Bergamo) who, after abandoning two large sofas on the street - instead of disposing of them according to the rules - found them in front of his home. A van brought them to him, accompanied by the local police who also fined him 10 thousand euros.
Not only. The police released the video of the singular operation, with the song “The lion sleeps tonight” playing in the background and the ironic writing: «Have you lost something? The local police find her and bring her to your house."
The citizen was filmed by video surveillance cameras leaving the sofas in a suburban area after borrowing a van. He justified himself to the officers by saying that he had deposited them "temporarily", and then went to collect them.
