The woman who was attacked with a hammer by her husband on May 9th aboard a bus near Santa Lucia di Stroncone died after five months of hospitalization in Terni .

The blows had caused irreversible damage .

The husband was arrested by the Carabinieri three days after the attack for attempted femicide with multiple aggravating circumstances and is currently in prison. With the woman's death, his legal situation is expected to worsen.
