The 52-year-old owner of a "no-vax" hotel in Abano Terme, in the province of Padua, in the center of the renowned thermal area of the Euganean Hills has remedied a complaint for a culpable epidemic.

His hotel was an anti-vaccinist's paradise: no Green Pass checks for customers, including irregular migrants and non-green certificates. In addition, the receptionist, i.e. the owner's father, not only received guests without a mask but was also positive at Covid. The hotel was closed after a surprise check by the agents of the Padua Police Headquarters.

CHECKS - The blitz was conducted yesterday by the agents of the Administrative Squad together with two crews of the Paduan Flying. To "welcome" them the 84 year old without a mask and who, subjected to the control swab, tested positive for coronavirus. Hence the fine for non-use of protective devices and the lack of a Green pass, the closure of the activity for five days and the complaint for the crime of culpable epidemic.

The agents then passed to the control of the 24 rooms of the hotel, where 21 customers had been hosted. Four of them did not have green certification, and for this they were fined. One of them had not been registered on the web portal of the Police Headquarters, with further complaint to the owner of the hotel for the violation of public safety regulations. Finally, from the identification of the people present in the structure, including nine people with criminal records, there were two foreign citizens who were found to be illegal in the State and were therefore reported and subjected to an expulsion procedure.
