“We have to leave the Green Pass as it is for now and then we can evaluate and eventually change. Already today the molecular buffer lasts 72 hours. The choices made in the last few days are also the result of the fact that green certification allows for greater safety. The 15th is an important step: we will make an assessment of the tightness of the plant we have built but the feeling is that the majority of people have grasped that the Green Pass is an instrument of freedom ".
This was stated by the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, on the TV show “Che tempo che fa” on Rai Tre.
The possibility of making the vaccine mandatory is also being evaluated: "We have made it mandatory for healthcare professionals and RSA operators. The numbers of the epidemic at the moment are among the lowest in the EU and there is a country's ability to keep the curve under control, so the choices we made have brought results. So the mandatory vaccine is among the possibilities but at this moment the government has chosen another strategy but we have a margin to evaluate and see ".
And speaking of the recall, he explained: "The third dose is an important piece of the strategy we have put in place: we start immediately, we already have almost 300 thousand third doses administered. The categories indicated are many and some do not yet have the 6 months elapsed. from the primary cycle, so they will not all be vaccinated immediately. We will check the incoming data again to understand if we have to go under 60 for the third doses, I think this is possible but we will see ".
