The bloody pajamas of Giulia Loffredo, the nine-month-old baby who died during the night between February 15 and 16 in Acerra (Naples), were found by the police in a garbage bag , before it ended up in the landfill. This was revealed by Tgr Campania.

The little girl was therefore changed before being taken by her father Vincenzo to the emergency room of the local Villa dei Fiori clinic, where the man first reported an attack by a stray, before changing his version and accusing the family pitbull .

Loffredo, who tested positive for hashish immediately after the tragedy, is being investigated for manslaughter for failing to supervise and guard the dog , and this additional element is now being examined by investigators, which adds further doubts to the entire affair.

"I am not aware of this discovery," Loffredo's lawyer, Luigi Montano , told Ansa. " There are no pyjamas in the seizure report from the forensic team that carried out the investigation in the apartment . My client said he took the little girl as soon as he noticed what had happened, and took her straight to the hospital."

No comment, however, neither from investigators nor from investigators. The apartment where the pitbull allegedly attacked the little girl was cleaned, always according to the man's version, before the police affixed the seizure seals, by some relatives who wanted to avoid the child's mother seeing her daughter's blood.

We are now awaiting the results of the various expert assessments ordered by the Prosecutor's Office, starting with Loffredo's cell phone , seized in recent days to also verify any movements of the 24-year-old during his partner's absence, while he was alone with the child and the two dogs kept in the house, the pitbull and a mongrel.

Just as we await the results of the autopsy, which will dispel doubts about the causes of the little girl's death (there has been talk of a broken neck bone, which would however conflict with the fact that when the little girl arrived at the clinic she was still alive), and those of the analyses carried out on the feces of the two animals to verify the presence of any organic traces of the victim. All results that could provide a clearer picture to the Prosecutor's Office, which has not yet set the preliminary hearing for Loffredo.
