"The intimate video of Chiara and Alberto? I've never seen it." With these words, Andrea Sempio , under investigation in the new inquiry into the murder of Chiara Poggi , killed in Garlasco on August 8, 2007, reiterated his non-involvement in the case, during an interview with Tg1.

"The checks we've done," he added, "confirm my version. Are you calm? I'm not; no one can be in a situation like this. We've taken into account the possibility of a request for indictment. If there is one, we'll address it."

At the time of the murder, for which Chiara's then-boyfriend Alberto Stasi was convicted, Sempio frequented the Poggi house because he was a friend of Marco, the victim's brother. According to investigators, the intimate videos may be related to the motive for the murder .

According to the Prosecutor's Office, Sempio's situation was further aggravated by the collapse of his alibi , namely the receipt he produced to prove he was elsewhere at the time of the murder. This evidence, as it later turned out, belonged to his mother.
