In Sardinia, fuel prices are still above the national average.

According to data from the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, as of Monday, September 7, the cost of self-service diesel on the island is €2,177 per liter, compared to the average of €2,165 per liter on the national road network.

Self-service petrol is also more expensive than in the rest of the country: €2,066 per litre in Sardinia, compared to the national average of €2,054 per litre.

As is well known, the excise duty cut extended by the Government at the end of August expires on September 10th , and in the absence of new measures, consumer associations fear further price increases.
