There is a crisis in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region after the councilors of the Northern League and then of Forza Italia and Lista Fedriga resigned their delegations.
An open crisis but for the moment frozen: Fedriga has in fact announced that he will not make decisions until Tuesday when, on the occasion of the Conference of the Regions event, he will meet Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Venice.
Today, however, of the ten councilors that make up the Regional Council, only three from the Brothers of Italy party remain holders of the delegations: Scoccimarro, Amirante and Anzil.
One of the casus belli of the League's decision was an interview on the alleged delays in opening a hospital in Pordenone given by Minister Luca Ciriani, a member of Fratelli d'Italia, whose words, the Carroccio claims, "have effectively opened an irresponsible majority crisis".
Fedriga also launched a swipe: no decision "until Tuesday, but there cannot be no consequences".
But in the background there is also the issue of the third term, in view of the next electoral campaign for the regional elections.
