«Free Palestine! Fascist!". David Parenzo, journalist and host of La 7, denounced in a video posted on social media that he was challenged at the La Sapienza University of Rome, where he was prevented from speaking .

“You are a racist,” accuses him of a student from the collective that staged the protest. «It uses the women's issue by exploiting it to defend and justify the genocide in Palestine, as it did with Afghanistan and Iraq. He has no space or political ability to speak here."

«She is obviously not prepared», replies Parenzo, who adds: « Look, in Gaza there are no movements in favor of women... And gays are put in prison, at best. Come here, get on stage, let's compare. I am always for dialogue ."

The riots occurred at the beginning of the event "Generational replacement ready to go", scheduled at La Sapienza University, organized by Le Contemporanee with the participation of right-wing students University Action.

In a second video, the journalist shows the blows given outside the courtroom on the walls. « We are stuck inside a classroom and can't get out. Long live democracy ", he writes in the post. "Fascists out of the university!", the kids continue to shout.

The situation slowly eased when some plainclothes officers intervened and the event got underway . Political representatives from all sides expressed solidarity with the journalist.

The young people of Cambiare Rotta explain: « We challenged Porenzo for his umpteenth attempt to justify the genocide in Palestine . And the fascists of Azione Universitaria in Sapienza tried to make March 8 an opportunity to legitimize themselves by exploiting the women's issue."
