Pre-trial detention order issued for four people for the murder of Cristiano Molè , killed by gunshots on the evening of January 15, 2024 in the Corviale neighborhood, on the outskirts of Rome.

Two of them are suspected of instigating the crime, while two others are believed to have procured the weapons used in the crime and provided information on the victim's habits and movements. The motive for the crime has also been determined to be rivalry with the victim and territorial control : they are suspected of managing the drug dealing hub at Via Donna Olimpia 30.

The Carabinieri and the police executed the precautionary custody order. The order was issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Court of Rome against the four individuals, two of whom were already detained for other reasons. The judicial authority's measure stems from a complex investigative effort, conducted through wiretaps and the "statements of several collaborators with justice."

As early as 2024, during the investigation, one of the instigators and the two perpetrators had been arrested on suspicion of the crime. At the time, searches had led to the discovery of several firearms and ammunition owned by the group. On July 5, 2024, the preliminary investigations judge of the Rome Ordinary Court confirmed the arrest and ordered a precautionary prison sentence.
