This morning in Florence the eviction of the former Astor hotel, the illegally occupied building in via Maragliano, from which Kata, a 5-year-old Peruvian girl who lives with her family in the building, disappeared last Saturday.

Numerous law enforcement agencies are on site, including the police, carabinieri, financial police and municipal police. The stretch of road overlooked by the former hotel and the side street, via Boccherini, are blocked to traffic. The building had been occupied last September, mostly families of Peruvian and Romanian origin live there.

On the investigation front, two women were heard yesterday . Nothing leaked.
