Five-year-old boy falls to his death from third floor: Police investigate

The five-year-old boy who fell from the window of an apartment building in Begato, a working-class neighborhood of Genoa, did not make it.

The child fell from the third floor. Firefighters, police, and an emergency medical car were on the scene.

The investigation to reconstruct what happened has been entrusted to the Flying Squad, with investigators interviewing witnesses and neighbors. It remains to be seen whether the child was home alone.
