Three people died in a fire that broke out yesterday evening around 11pm in Milan in a Chinese goods store in via Cantoni, Certosa area.

The victims are all young and of Chinese nationality: two brothers aged 19 and 17 and another aged 24. The three (one of whom was in pajamas) had locked themselves in the bathroom to escape the flames, but died of asphyxiation.

Five vehicles from the Milan Command intervened on site and worked all night to put out the flames and then proceed to secure the warehouse. Carabinieri and scientific police are investigating to understand the dynamics of the event. 118 and local police are also on site.

According to initial information, the hypothesis of an arson attack is not excluded. Rumors suggest that the owners of the business had received threats.
