"Regarding the events involving the former Athara ship in the port of Naples last night, the Company informs that the fire has been completely extinguished," GNV announced.

"The firefighting and safety operations were conducted in constant coordination with the Fire Department, the Coast Guard, and the relevant authorities. The rapid response and cooperation of all involved allowed the situation to be managed in a coordinated and effective manner. It is confirmed that no injuries were reported," the statement states.

"Technical checks and the necessary activities to restore the vessel are currently underway. The Company will closely monitor all phases of its return to full operation, continuing to collaborate with the authorities involved in the investigation."
