The 17-year-old boy taken to the police station this morning after the lifeless bodies of his family members were found inside their home in Paderno Dugnano (Milan) confessed to killing his father, mother and 12-year-old brother.

At the end of a long interrogation the boy changed his version admitting not only to having killed his father but also the whole family, without the

involvement of other people.

In the early afternoon another version emerged: the seventeen-year-old had been investigated for the murder of his father: this morning he had called 112 claiming to have killed him because he in turn was responsible for stabbing his mother and 12-year-old brother in their home in Paderno Dugnano (Milan).

The turning point came in the evening, with the confession and the arrest.

"It was a normal family, quiet, not followed by social services and described by everyone as having no problems. I am astonished." This is what the mayor of Paderno Dugnano, Anna Varisco, said, who reports that she did not personally know the victims of the tragedy.

"Even the schools and the boys' teachers say that they were both very calm. The father's brother, in particular, was known in the village for his ties to the parish." The community, the mayor said, "is shocked" and tomorrow the proclamation of mourning for the day of the funeral will be formalized. "We express our closeness to the family."
