Lawyer Alessandro Vaccaro, a lawyer in the Grillo trial (he is defending Francesco Corsiglia, one of the four defendants) and former president of the Genoa Bar Association, has pleaded guilty to one year and four months in prison for the crime of embezzlement.
According to the Genoa Public Prosecutor's Office, in 2018 the criminal lawyer allegedly transferred almost 215 thousand euros from the Ocf (Forensic Congressional Body) coffers to his personal account.

Among the promoters of the action against the criminal lawyer within the Ocf, two Sardinian lawyers (also in the Forensic Congressional Body) who were also heard by the Guardia di Finanza on the matter, in Olbia and Sassari.
The two professionals were summoned as persons informed of the facts in the criminal investigation. Vaccaro returned the money in full between 2019 and 2022. The criminal lawyer declared that there was no shortfall to the detriment of the Ocf and that all movements of financial resources were regularly highlighted in the balance sheets, checked and approved.
