While he was arranging some tools in the shed, a tractor trailer plow, balanced on a wall, fell on him, killing him. The fatal accident at work occurred in the afternoon in Morrovalle (Macerata) where an eighty-one-year-old man died inside his shed, adjacent to his home on via Lazzarini.

The man's lifeless body was found by his wife who had gone to look for him and then reported it .
