Daniela Ferrari, Andrea Sempio's mother, was rushed to the hospital . Liborio Cataliotti, the lawyer for her son, who is under investigation as part of the Pavia Prosecutor's Office's new investigation into the Garlasco crime, announced this in an interview with Gianluigi Nuzzi during today's episode of "Dentro la notizia" on Canale 5.
The woman, he added, "was rushed to the emergency room for a drug overdose; we don't know whether she took it voluntarily or not."

The lawyer received the news while he was at the Supreme Court with his colleague Angela Taccia. "As a defense team," he emphasizes, "we urged Andrea to stay close to his mother, to reassure her, and to tell her that we will even step up our efforts to make her forget the social media attacks, the letters she receives, the emails, to turn everything off, because she is not under investigation and is not involved.
