Tragic road accident last night in Salerno, on the provincial road Teggiano-Polla.
The toll is dramatic: two dead and five injured . Two young people from Polla aged 23 and 29 who were traveling aboard a Fiat 500 lost their lives.
Three cars involved, an off-road vehicle and a Fiat Punto in addition to the car of the victims.
The causes of the tragedy that occurred in the stretch of road between the municipalities of Teggiano and San Pietro al Tanagro have yet to be ascertained.
The carabinieri of the Sala Consilina company and the 118 health workers intervened on the spot. The two young people died instantly while the five wounded, one of whom is in serious condition , were all hospitalized at the nearby hospital in Polla.
