The former number one of the Milanese underworld Renato Vallanzasca has "still an intemperate character" and for this reason he has been denied semi-freedom.
The decision of the Surveillance Court of Milan, it is announced, was also taken following a dispute that Vallanzasca had with a prison officer during the "urine check" last August, on his return to Bollate from a permit prize, and for which he was "sanctioned with recall".
A previous instance had always been rejected by the Milanese judges with confirmation by the Cassation in March 2021. A decision that the judges (D'Elia-Odorisio and two experts) also report in this provision, always recalling that 2014 robbery attempt (underpants and other few objects) in a supermarket in Milan , when he was on semi-freedom. And specifying that the former bandit from Comasina has not yet shown "positive behavior" of repentance, "from which the abandonment of criminal choices can be deduced".
There was also no "compensation for damages" to the victims of the crimes he committed and the "inability to fulfil" civil obligations was not demonstrated. And, the Court still explains, although Vallanzasca, as shown by the reports, is "a proven man", both physically and mentally, "obviously marked by about 50 years in prison" , it must be said that "the health conditions of the prisoner they cannot stand" to grant what he asks. Among other things, in recent days the prosecutor of executions Adriana Blasco has asked to apply to Vallanzasca another 6 months of daytime isolation on the basis of the calculation of the cumulative penalties .
In addition to recalling the 2020 provision which addressed the issue of the "dangerousness" of Renato Vallanzasca , the judges of the Milan Surveillance Department report the reports of the prison team in which it is said that the former boss of Comasina in the last two years he has had a "fairly correct conduct" and is "withdrawing into himself".
