This evening, Carabinieri from the RIS (Italian Special Investigation Unit) in Rome conducted a new inspection in Siena, ordered as part of the investigation by the second Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the death of David Rossi, the former head of communications at MPS, who died on March 6, 2013, after falling from the window of his office at the Siena bank's headquarters.

The commission of inquiry itself announced this. In the very alley of Monte Pio, where Rossi's lifeless body was found, Carabinieri specialists operated, also with the aid of a laser scanner and a mannequin placed on the ground at the exact spot where Rossi fell.

The investigations, 13 years after Rossi's death, are aimed at precisely reconstructing the spaces and elements present at the scene. In particular, they are focused on the silhouette of the person captured at the entrance to the alley by Rocca Salimbeni surveillance cameras on the evening of March 6, 2013, after the MPS manager fell.

Lieutenant Colonel Adolfo Gregori, consultant to the Commission of Inquiry chaired by Gianluca Vinci, also participated in the inspection. To allow for the RIS operations, the area was temporarily closed.
