A video uploaded on social networks rekindles hopes of finding Daniele Potenzoni ,   the disabled person with autism problems who disappeared 8 years ago in the subway in Rome.

There has been no news of the 36-year-old since June 10, 2015 , when he disappeared in the middle of the throng of Termini station. He was traveling with other patients from the day center he attended to the audience with Pope Francis. According to what was reconstructed that day the quay was full and when the doors of the vehicle opened Potenzoni would have boarded while the others, including the two escorts, would have remained on the ground. Although his story has made the rounds of Italy - between reports and relentless searches - the 36-year-old has never been found.

But now there may be a breakthrough in the investigation . To change the cards on the table is a video posted by a lady on the Facebook page dedicated to the boy . The woman would have downloaded it in turn from the Instagram platform. The family, incredulous, was struck by what they saw: the resemblance to Daniele would be truly "impressive" : thinning hair, crooked nose, movements. "Until proven otherwise, it's him," says Francesco Potenzoni, the father . In the footage, shot in a forest clearing, we see a man in a red sweatshirt lying on the ground. The quality – albeit not optimal – of the file allows us to appreciate the details of his face and to hear what the person behind the lens is saying: «Here is Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film Terminator».

According to the Potenzoni family, the son "would have ended up in the clutches of Romanian gypsies or other nationalities who take him around to beg in some street show ". In the meantime, the research machine is back in motion, ready - with the help of the Postal Police - to trace both the author of the film and the place where it was made.
