Among the seven arrested in the new strand of the Milan investigation into the San Siro stands, for episodes, to varying degrees, of usury, extortion and false invoices, there is also Mauro Russo, under house arrest and former partner of former AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini and former Nerazzurri striker Christian Vieri, both totally unrelated to the investigations.

Russo, whose name had already emerged as having been searched in the investigation, is accused - together with the former head of the Nerazzurri curve Andrea Beretta, Giuseppe Caminiti, linked to the 'ndrangheta, and originally also with Vittorio Boiocchi, the historic leader of the Nord killed in 2022 on Beretta's orders - of having extorted 4 thousand euros a month for about two years from the entrepreneur Gherardo Zaccagni, who managed the parking lots outside the San Siro stadium.

An alleged extortion of approximately 60 thousand euros.
