Sardinia is the only Italian region to exceed the 10% alert threshold in intensive care, with 13% of the beds occupied by Covid patients.
This is what emerges from the Agenas report, which highlights in Italy an employment of critical departments at 5% at national level, a year ago it was 39%. Stable in almost all regions, including Sardinia, it grows only in Liguria (at 5%), Sicily and Umbria at 8% and Valle d'Aosta at 6%.
After a slight decline in the previous days, the occupancy of beds in the medical area rose to 16%, from 41% a year ago. Here too Sardinia exceeds the alert threshold, reaching 21%.
The pressure on non-critical departments is growing in ten Regions: Abruzzo (23%), Basilicata (27%), Emilia Romagna (15%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (12%), Lazio (19%), Lombardy (11%) ), Molise (17%), Bolzano (9%), Sicily (27%) and Valle d'Aosta (10%).
In detail, the occupancy of seats in non-critical area hospital wards by patients with Covid-19 drops in the Province of Trento (11%) and in the Marche (20%). It is stable in the remaining 9 regions: Calabria (33%), Campania (17%), Liguria (16%), Piedmont (10%), Puglia (22%), Sardinia (21%), Tuscany (16%), Umbria (42%) and Veneto (10%).
