The investigation by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office into Assistant Chief Carmelo Cinturrino, currently in prison for the murder of Abderrahim Mansouri, killed on January 26 in the Rogoredo woods during an anti-drug operation, has been extended to include two more officers from the Mecenate police station.

The new charges, including one for forgery against a police officer, are linked to the request for an evidentiary hearing recently served to summon at least eight witnesses, including drug dealers and drug addicts, to confirm their stories. Among the new charges is said to be unlawful arrest. This brings the total number of suspects, including Cinturrino, to seven .

Tomorrow the Court of Appeal will hear the request for house arrest for the police officer.

The Milan Prosecutor's Office is charging Cinturrino with over 30 charges, including the murder of Abderrahim Mansouri on January 26 in the Rogoredo forest, now also with the "aggravating circumstance of premeditation" .

Premeditation also contested in light of some threats, directly or through others, that Cinturrino is said to have made to 'Zack' Mansouri: «Either I arrest you or I'll kill you», «Tell Zack that if I catch him I'll kill him», «Please remind Zack that if I catch him I'll kill him» .

The 41-year-old's charges also include kidnapping, drug possession and trafficking, extortion, extortion, battery, unlawful arrest, slander, forgery, misdirection, and robbery. A total of 43 charges have been filed against the assistant chief and the other six officers under investigation, according to the request for an evidentiary hearing by prosecutor Giovanni Tarzia.
