The funeral of Daniele Paitoni, the seven-year-old boy killed in Morazzone by his father, against whom the arrest was validated yesterday, will take place on Friday at 2.30 pm, in Gazzada Schianno (Varese).

Davide Paitoni, 40, allegedly acted "to punish his wife" and with "cruelty" towards his son, hitting him with a stab in the throat. Then he attacked, in Gazzada Schianno, the wife who had left him. All while he was under house arrest after stabbing a work colleague in the back, an episode that took place at the end of November.

As to why, despite the arrest for attempted murder and the complaints presented by his wife and father-in-law, he could still see the child, urgent investigations will be initiated at the Varese Palace of Justice. The Minister of Justice, Marta Cartabia, asked the inspectorate to urgently carry out the necessary preliminary investigations on the case.

"You ruined my life, the baby is safe, I attacked you to punish you" he said to the woman in a voice message sent after she had already killed little Daniele.
