Paola Soulejmanovic, 33, the mother of two of the four children (including the thirteen-year-old driver) who were in the car that hit and killed Cecilia De Astis in Milan on August 11, was arrested today.

The woman was stopped by local police in the Lombardy capital, inside the gardens on Viale Cermenate, and taken to San Vittore prison for a combined sentence of 3 years and 10 months. The thefts were committed between 2017 and 2019.

She had over 130 grams of gold jewelry and over €1,500 in cash on her person. The woman was also charged with receiving stolen goods.
