In Padua, however, there were tensions: two police charges and the use of fire hydrants dispersed the demonstrators who ran away from via Belludi, the main access road to the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, to flow along via Roma, one of the main arteries of the city.

During the clashes a girl was stopped, identified and taken into custody by the police at the end of the first charge. The position of the young woman is being examined by the Digos.
