The life sentence for Paolo Bellini, a former member of Avanguardia Nazionale, now 72 years old, accused of complicity in the Bologna massacre that took place on August 2, 1980 and caused the death of 85 people, has become definitive.

This was decided by the judges of the sixth section of the Court of Cassation who also reaffirmed the six-year sentence for the former captain of the Carabinieri Piergiorgio Segatel for obstruction of justice and the four-year sentence for Domenico Catracchia , administrator of some condominiums in via Gradoli in Rome, for providing false information to the public prosecutor.
