The Boccia-Sangiuliano case continues to make the waters of Italian politics ripple. After the failed live broadcast two nights ago on Rete 4 of “ È sempre Carta Bianca ”, in which Maria Rosaria Boccia was supposed to be a guest of the journalist Berlinguer, new indiscretions have arrived about what happened in the studios of the Mediaset program, along with a tough exchange between the presenter and the entrepreneur. According to the former director of Tg3, her guest demanded to see the questions in advance and, furthermore, was ready to bring Arianna Meloni into the affair of her failed nomination as advisor to the Ministry of Culture , without however explaining with what evidence. A reconstruction , however, partly denied by Boccia, who claims she left because they only wanted to talk about gossip. All this while some of her statements, contained in her curriculum vitae or on social profiles, are denied or questioned by the media day after day.
Berlinguer explained in a statement that she was "convinced that the only point of disagreement was my unwillingness to provide her in advance and in writing with the questions I would have asked her." Then she made public some of the revelations that Boccia was ready to make on the show. "A few hours before the broadcast," the presenter said, "she showed us the transcript, made by her, of an alleged conversation between Gennaro Sangiuliano and his wife in which the former minister allegedly stated that he had not had an intimate relationship with Boccia ." This along with the hypotheses on the fact that "her failure to be appointed as a consultant to the ministry was due either to concerns about a possible conflict of interest or to pressure from Sangiuliano's wife or to the shortcomings of her curriculum vitae or finally to the intervention of Arianna Meloni."
This statement would allow the scope of the businesswoman's accusations to expand to the prime minister's sister. Just today, when Arianna Meloni's ex-partner, Minister Francesco Lollobrigida , responded to a question about the rumors about her relationship with Boccia, assuring that he had not had "the pleasure of getting to know the lady better." "When I began to ask her what evidence she could provide to support such serious statements," Berlinguer explained, "Boccia declared that I was not prepared on her story, accusing me of being interested only in gossip."
However, the guest labeled the presenter's words as fake news on Instagram. During the broadcast, the guests were ready to ask questions about some opaqueness in her recent past. What gave rise to some doubts are her activity as an influencer and some of the entries in her resume, including her degree in business economics from the University of Naples Parthenope which - according to Verità - Boccia never achieved. Furthermore, the entrepreneur does not appear to hold any chair or assistant role to professors at the Federico II University of Naples, unlike what is always reported on her account.
