The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into journalist and TV host Alfonso Signorini. This action was prompted by the complaint filed in recent days by former Big Brother contestant Antonio Medugno .

In the complaint filed on December 24th, which ended up before the prosecutor Letizia Mannella, head of the Fifth Department, which deals with the protection of vulnerable groups, Medugno, assisted by lawyers Cristina Morrone and Giuseppe Pipicella, requested proceedings for sexual assault and extortion, crimes now registered in the case file.

Prosecutor Mannella, along with her colleague Alessandro Gobbis, is also coordinating the investigation into Fabrizio Corona, who is under investigation for revenge porn based on Signorini's complaint. The complaint was filed after the "king of paparazzi," through his show "Falsissimo," essentially accused the journalist and TV host of operating a "system" of sexual favors requested —according to the former photo agent—from some Big Brother contestants or those aspiring to enter the now-famous "house."

It was precisely this file that allowed the seizure of photos, videos and chats and prompted Medugno to come forward and report Signorini.

Medugno's may not be the only complaint against the journalist. Former Big Brother VIP star Gianluca Costantino, assisted by lawyer Leonardo D'Erasmo, is currently deciding whether to pursue similar legal action.
