Four young men between the ages of 19 and 23, residents of the province of Forlì-Cesena, were arrested by Carabinieri officers from the Cervia-Milano Marittima unit and the Ravenna Investigative Unit. They are accused of carrying out the beating on the night of July 18-19 in the square of Viale Tritone in Pinarella, on the Ravenna coast. This beating resulted in the death of 54-year-old Nicola Musiani, who was pronounced dead the following Wednesday at Bufalini Hospital in Cesena. The four were charged with conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated by trivial motives.

Cervia Mayor Mirko Boschetti described this as "an important development in the investigation into an incident that has deeply wounded Nicola's family and the entire community of Pinarella and Cervia, deeply affected by an episode of violence as brutal as it is unacceptable. We are now confident," he added, "that the ongoing investigation and subsequent trial will shed full light on responsibility and bring full justice to Nicola."
