The violent wave of bad weather that hit northern Italy in the last few hours has also disrupted airports, causing numerous delays to flights to Sardinia.
There are currently numerous flights arriving at Elmas after the scheduled time , with delays ranging from thirty minutes to over an hour from Milan Linate, Bergamo, Bologna and Rome Fiumicino.
The situation is similar in Olbia , where the flight from Malpensa scheduled to arrive at 9.55pm is currently scheduled to land at 11.48pm.
Disruptions and delays had already been reported with the violent storms that hit Milan, Bergamo, and Venice this morning. Then, after a few hours of respite, the bad weather resumed, with hail and thunderstorms—and further delays in the late afternoon.
