Trapper Baby Gang , already at the center of several legal proceedings in recent years, was arrested in Milan as part of an investigation coordinated by the Lecco Prosecutor's Office . The 24-year-old was found in possession of a gun in a hotel room where he was staying after performing at an Emis Killa concert last night.
Transferred to San Vittore prison, the young artist is charged with illegal possession of a weapon . According to his lawyer, Niccolò Vecchioni, the weapon was found during a search ordered by the Prosecutor's Office. The investigation, conducted by the Carabinieri and Prosecutor Domenico Ezio Basso, is said to be broader in scope and concerns alleged arms trafficking.
Milan's judicial authorities are proceeding with the arrest in connection with the gun found, while the Lecco Prosecutor's Office, as part of a broader investigation, has also conducted searches of Baby Gang, registered as Zaccaria Mouhib, and other individuals. Before the arrest in connection with the gun, as part of this broader operation, Baby Gang was free awaiting social services custody following his final sentence of 2 years, 9 months, and 10 days last March for the shooting near Corso Como, a vibrant Milanese nightlife area. In other trials, he has been acquitted or received convictions that are not yet final. His friend and crewmate Simba La Rue is currently serving a combined sentence for two final convictions. Lecco Carabinieri found two additional illegal pistols in the home of trapper Baby Gang in Calolziocorte, near Lecco.
According to the Milan prosecutor on duty, in his request to validate the arrest and remand him in prison, Baby Gang "is a very dangerous person, who displays, even in his songs and performances, a clear contempt for authorities and law enforcement, and habitually uses real weapons, including war weapons, in his videos. And to access them, he relies on the support of a criminal network specializing in drug trafficking."
