The Rome Prosecutor's Office is also charging entrepreneur, journalist, and former publisher Valter Lavitola with the crime of massacre, among other things, in connection with the attack on Sigfrido Ranucci that took place in October last year.
This is what emerges from the search warrant issued on July 4th by the prosecutors of the DDA in Piazzale Clodio.
Prosecutors believe Lavitola is the instigator of the crime. He is charged with the crime in conjunction with members of the gang arrested last week and with Gomes Clesio Tavares, a 47-year-old Cameroonian citizen believed to be the intermediary between the businessman and the perpetrators.
The document states that Lavitola instructed Clesio Tavares to "identify individuals capable of obtaining explosives and detonating them in front of the journalist's home." On September 16, a month before the attack, Lavitola and the 47-year-old carried out an inspection "near the home" of the Report host.
