Devastating fire in an apartment in Catanzaro.
The toll is dramatic: three young people died and four others were injured.
Three brothers lost their lives: Saverio Corasaniti, 22, Aldo (16) and Mattia (12).
In serious condition, the 42-year-old father Vitaliano, intoxicated and intubated in the resuscitation ward of the hospital of the Calabrian capital, his wife Rita Mazzei, 41, who struggles between life and death in the center for severe burns in Bari where she was transferred . Two other children of the couple are also serious.
The alarm went off in via Caduti 16 March 1978, in the southern area of the Calabrian city.
On the spot several fire brigade teams, but for the three young people there was nothing to do: they were found lifeless inside the house by the men of 115, during the extinguishing operations. According to what is learned, they tried to escape from a balcony, unfortunately in vain.
