Former Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè faces further trouble. The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a notice of conclusion of its investigations against the Fratelli d'Italia parliamentarian and 15 other individuals, including her sister Fiorella Garnero and her former partner Giovanni Canio Mazzaro, and a company for various allegations of bankruptcy, false accounting, and aggravated fraud against the state in the bankruptcy of Ki Group, Ki Group Holding, Bioera, and Umbria srl.
The closure of the investigation paves the way for a request for indictment and adds to the two ongoing proceedings, namely the Visibilia case and the alleged fraud against INPS.
